last year i sent out 4 or 5 things that i made for people and it was more rewarding than any other christmas that i've gone through. i'm a total scrooge about the holiday season, but love to see someone be surprised and happy. and i have some real jackass friends that never appreciate anything and are always just too brand name materialistic to ever even give a craft the time of day. and i don't have money to blow on crap from some stupid store. soooo i'm focusing on sending a lot of my energy to random and not so random people elsewhere.
....and perhaps something will come my way this year. o3o

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1-happiness and health to everyone. totally corny, sappy cliche crap, i know, but true. i wish everyone could have the strength they need.

2-for my face and eye to just keep healing and getting better. as well as the same for everyone else dealing with medical/health issues. i'm also always willing to talk to anyone about something if they just need a shoulder or someone to babble/rant to. don't hold back. :]

3-art collabs! i would LOVE to do some collabs with people. i've always thought a craft collab would be amazing, like if they designed something and then i crafted it. i don't know.
if not a collab, just fan art of my dinky o.c.'s. (fallow/antler boy, pietro, trent, etc.) i have all of the ones i've received on my walls.

4-scarves. big puffy scarves that i can make poof out of the top of jacket collars and shit. and any other winter fashion goodies. i'm a winter fashion whore. o3o

5-jewelry. i would really adore something made just for me. i do a lot of jewelry gift giving at christmas and around the year because it's something so custom and unique, but haven't really ever received any for myself. (except from ) even if someone sent me a custom pendant or charm and i'd make something out of it.

6-a tattoo apprenticeship with someone that knows what the fuck they are doing. it's my big dream to tattoo, but it keeps feeling like it's just getting further away from me slowly ever since the accident. back up plans....cake decorator or special effects makeup shit. or maybe i'll just make it as an artist. ffffffff......as iff that will happen soon. xD

7-a funky/odd/one of a kind/etc. doll or plush. just as an idea of what i mean by that, things like these....

8-to just feel accepted, heard, and appreciated sometimes.....

10-air dry clay. i really want to try out a doll making technique.
